45485 Carbide Tipped Flush Trim Plunge Template 3/4 Dia x 3/4 x 1/4 Inch Shank

These bits are essentially a straight plunge/cutter with a shank-mount, ball-bearing pilot. Useful for the template, patterns, routing of parts, joints, and internal cuts. Multi-choice use is in either a handheld machine or in a table-mount router. The template attaches to workpieces, and the pilot bearing rides along its edge, as the cutting edges rout the workpiece, forming an exact duplicate of the template.  A handheld router has the patterns on top of the work with a table-mount router and the patterns are underneath the work.
